As you can see, it’s not as simple as it seems.
For one thing, most toys are not meant to be used for sex.
They’re meant to stimulate the clitoris, for example, or to provide stimulation for other sexual purposes.
And, in fact, many sex toys have been banned from the market because they can cause harm, such as hurting or causing injury to someone with HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases.
In fact, it is illegal to sell or possess a sex toy that is intended to be a “danger to minors,” the FDA warns.
However, the FDA doesn’t consider sex toys “dangerous,” even if they contain latex or other harmful materials.
It also doesn’t classify toys as “toys” for the FDA to regulate.
There are also a number of different toys and products that are legal to sell in the U.S., but they are all labeled “adult toys” that are not intended for any sexual purpose.
So, in other words, a toy that’s meant to pleasure the clitoral area is not considered a toy and is not regulated.
