The last time Betty Brodrick saw her father was in prison in 1972, after he had been convicted of murdering her mother and sister.
She says she did not remember much of the day.
But Betty is convinced she has some idea of what happened.
“When I was about 10 or 11 years old, I was in a park with my mother and dad,” she says.
When Betty was about 11 years of age, her father had been sentenced to death, but he was released when his parole was up.
“I remember being in that park with the park and just watching my mother cry,” she recalls.
Brodrick says she had a dream about her father.
She told her parents that her father could help her and her mother.
In that dream, she says she saw her mother lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to her neck.
At the time, Betty was only 10 years old.
“It’s a little sad,” she explains.
Betty Broderrick says her father, Ronald Brodricks, was the only person who ever spoke to her about his wife and kids. “
My mother was a loving, loving mother.”
Betty Broderrick says her father, Ronald Brodricks, was the only person who ever spoke to her about his wife and kids.
He was very quiet, and when you asked him anything he just said, ‘I love you, Betty.’
When her father died, Betty told her mom she loved him, but Betty Brods says she never felt like she had been told everything.
And she says her mother did not think her father’s death would make her feel any different.
Bety says she believes her mother had her father killed.
After her father left prison, Betty Brodnks family lived in a trailer park.
One day, she remembers her mother driving Betty to school.
Her mother asked Betty if she was ready to go to school, but she said she was not.
The next day, Betty says she went to her mother’s home.
There she met Betty’s stepfather, Frank Brodick.
Frank Brodicks family lived a quiet life.
But Betty says Frank told her he knew about his brother’s murder and that he wanted to kill Betty.
A month after Betty’s father died in prison, Frank was arrested for the murder.
It was during that time that Betty’s mother met Frank’s father, Ron Brodons mother.
“Ron had a little sister named Betty,” Betty says.
“Ron told her that he had never talked to Betty about her brother’s death, and that she had told her mother all about it.
Ron told me that Betty told him everything about what happened to her father.”
When the police arrested Ron Brods mother, Betty said she did tell him what happened with her mother, but when she asked him about the death of her father he just told her to keep quiet.
While she was in jail, Betty wrote letters to her stepfather.
Once she was released from jail, her parents had a new relationship.
On the night of June 6, 1974, Betty’s dad was murdered.
Ron Brodys sister, Betty, was killed the next day.
What Betty remembers most about her mother is the way she carried herself.
For the first time, she can remember a time when her mother was not alone.
Before Betty had a daughter, Betty started dating another man.
This man was a prison guard named Frank Brods brother, Frank, and he was serving a life sentence for killing his father.
Betty says she was surprised to see him again at a birthday party.
Even though he was there for a birthday, he kept asking her if she wanted to go out and drink and he seemed very nice and he even invited her to his house to hang out with him.
However, Betty and Frank’s relationship began to deteriorate.
Eventually, Betty became pregnant with Frank’s baby.
As Betty was pregnant with his child, she was pregnant and she says it was very difficult for her to get him to come home.
“I was in the car with my baby in the backseat,” Betty recalls.
“And my baby was crying and crying and I was sitting in the front seat, and I’m thinking, ‘Well, it’s my birthday and I can’t go to the doctor and I don’t want to go home.
I can barely talk to my husband and I want to keep going.'”
When Betty got home from the doctor’s appointment, her boyfriend, Frank’s brother, was waiting for her in the living room.
His sister was waiting on the couch.
They had never met, but their mother had told Betty her brother was her father and that Frank had killed his father and sister to get her pregnant.
